Hi, everybody! Today I'll be giving some recipes for some winter treats for your friends!
Hamster Apple Pie
Ingredients:
1/2 apple, cut into diced pieces. REMEMBER TO GET RID OF SEEDS
1/4 cup buckwheat flour
Two tablespoons (+ more if needed) water
Recipe:
Mix flour and water to make a dough; add more if your heart desires—Preheat oven to 350%. Put the dough in a muffin pan, squishing it at the bottom, so it resembles a pie crust. Add apples and put in the oven for 5 minutes at a time, checking after each set is done. Let it cool completely, and enjoy!
Rabbit Cranberry Cookies
Ingredients:
A handful of dried cranberries
1/3 cup oats
1/4 cup mashed banana
Recipe:
Chop up the dried cranberries until they're itty bitty. Mix oats and mashed bananas with a spatula. Add cranberries—Preheat oven to 350%. Roll out the cookies into little balls. Bake for about 7 minutes or until golden brown. Yum!
Ferret Omelet
Ingredients:
One egg
a handful of shredded chicken
Recipe:
Fry the egg without oil until fully cooked. Add chicken and fold it into an omelet. Enjoy!
Rat Roasted Plums
Ingredients:
One plum, chopped in half (get rid of the seed)
a drizzle of raw honey
Recipe:
Preheat oven to 400%. Put plums in a pan and drizzle honey over them. Put in the oven for 5 minutes, more if needed. Let cool completely and enjoy.
Mouse Pasta Pomodoro
Ingredients:
2 tsp pasta
1 1/2 tsp mashed tomato
a sprinkle of chopped broccoli
Recipe: Bring about 3 cups of water to a boil. Add pasta and make some more for yourself if your heart desires. Cook until soft. Set aside. In a bowl, mix mashed tomatoes with the broccoli. Once the pasta is cooled, mix it with the tomato mix. Yum!
Gerbil Walnut Pancakes
Ingredients:
Tbsp finely chopped walnuts
1/3 cup buckwheat flour
1/4 cup water
Recipe:
In a bowl, mix water and flour until it forms a batter. Not too thick, not too thin. Add walnuts and cook on a pan until the sides start to bubble. Flip and cook the other side. Once cooled, enjoy!
Chinchilla Salad
Ingredients:
Two prunes, chopped
Kale
two dandelion leaves
1/2 a chopped pear
Recipe:
With your hands or a knife, chop kale and dandelion. Add the prunes. Blend the pear with water in a blender until it resembles a dressing. Pour over the salad and enjoy!
Remember, these are given in moderation. To eat all of these in one sitting is terrible for your friend and can cause illness. Happy snacking!
